Bowel Diseases

Persistent pain, bloating, bowel habit change, or bleeding requires structured bowel-focused assessment.

Our intestines are a complex ecosystem that hosts the cellular center of our immune system, also known as the 'second brain', and directly determines overall health. Abdominal pain, bloating, chronic diarrhea or constipation, unexplained gas pains, and changes in bowel habits are complaints that deeply shake the quality of life. These symptoms sometimes indicate a functional adaptation problem, and sometimes a serious organic disease.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis) are among the most common conditions we encounter in the group of bowel diseases. In our clinic, we differentiate these diseases with great care. In inflammatory bowel diseases, our goal is not only to relieve complaints but to completely stop the progression and complications of the disease by providing mucosal healing.

Today's modern problems such as systemic inflammation, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), Celiac disease, and non-celiac gluten sensitivity fall within the expertise of our clinic. We illuminate these functional clinical pictures, which are often brushed off as 'stress' for years because they cannot be diagnosed correctly, with advanced diagnostic tests and specific examination approaches, and plan targeted treatments.

Colorectal (colon) cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the world, and it usually occurs when polyps growing without giving any symptoms turn into cancer over time. Regardless of complaints, thanks to regular screening colonoscopies we apply to every individual over a certain age, we detect these polyps before they turn into cancer and remove them completely painlessly in the same session, preventing cancer before it is born.

In our clinic, we review the findings after colonoscopy together with the patient on screen so that they can better understand their condition and our treatment plan.
